On 10th December 2013 the Local Plan superseded any saved policies in the Unitary Development Plan (UDP) that was adopted in 2004. The current Local Plan comprises Core Strategy DPD (2012) and Development Management DPD (2013) amongst other documents, while following the new planning system under the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act, 2004, Supplementary Planning Documents (SPD) replace Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPG) in the new planning system.
A new Local Plan will comprise a collection of documents, setting out how Ealing will develop up to 2026 but with no further announcement regarding target dates for review, consultation or adoption as the Ealing’s Local Development Scheme was revised in July 2015 last time.
