WEA Planning secured Listed Building Consent and Planning Permission for a property occupied by a major embassy. The building is grade II* listed and within the Mayfair conservation zone.
With these conservation and heritage constraints, even minor alterations require planning permission and listed buildings consent.
The client needed to replace the boiler and undertake associated works. WEA Planning demonstrated the work would not harm the heritage assets, instead prolonging the use and lifespan of the building. We were able to secure the permissions necessary for these works in order to maintain and modernise the property.
